Christian Marie Serratos (born September 21, 1990) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Rosita Espinosa in the TV show The Walking Dead. Many people also know her as Suzie Crabgrass from the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

Serratos also played Angela Weber in the popular Twilight movies. More recently, she starred as the famous singer Selena in the Netflix show Selena: The Series.

Early Life and First Steps in Entertainment

Christian Serratos was born in Pasadena, California, and grew up in nearby Burbank, California. Her mother is from Mexico, and her father is from Italy. She started her acting journey very young. At just three years old, she worked as an extra on TV shows like The Drew Carey Show and Coach. An extra is someone who appears in the background of a scene.

Besides acting, Serratos was a talented figure skater. She started skating at age three and competed for many years. She once said her coaches even talked about the Olympics. Now, she just skates for fun. When she was seven, she also signed a contract with the Ford Modeling Agency.

Nickelodeon and Ned's Declassified

From 2004 to 2007, Serratos played Suzie Crabgrass in the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Her character was the main love interest of the show's star, Ned. The show was a hit with young audiences and ran for three seasons.

Biting into Fame with Twilight

In 2008, Serratos joined the cast of the blockbuster movie Twilight as Angela Weber, one of Bella Swan's human friends. For this role, she won a "Young Supporting Actress" award at the 30th Young Artist Awards. She returned to play Angela in the sequels, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Surviving in The Walking Dead

One of her most famous roles is Rosita Espinosa in AMC's hit series The Walking Dead. She first appeared in the fourth season as a recurring character, meaning she was in some of the episodes.
