Christina Crawford's Wrestling Journey
Starting in Florida Championship Wrestling
In June 2010, Christina Crawford signed a contract with WWE to train as a wrestler. She was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Her first appearance was on July 8, 2010, in a bikini contest. She didn't have her first wrestling match until November 20. In that match, she used the new name Caylee Turner. She teamed up with Rosa Mendes and Aksana in a six-diva tag team match. However, they lost to AJ Lee, Kaitlyn, and Naomi Knight. In February 2011, Christina left her WWE contract for a short time. This was so she could be part of the new Tough Enough TV show.
Competing on Tough Enough
In March 2011, Christina was announced as one of 14 contestants for the new Tough Enough series. This show was a competition to find new wrestling stars. She was removed from the competition on the May 23 episode. Another contestant, A.J. Kirsch, was also eliminated that day.
Returning to WWE and Becoming Champion
After Tough Enough, Christina re-signed with WWE. She returned to FCW on June 22 in a tag team match. For the next few months, she mostly competed in tag team matches. In January 2012, Caylee Turner started trying to win the FCW Divas Championship. She tried to defeat Audrey Marie but was not successful at first.
In March, she began a rivalry with a group called the Anti-Diva Army. This group included Sofia Cortez, Paige, and Raquel Diaz. To fight them, Caylee formed a team with Audrey Marie and Kaitlyn. On June 20, Caylee Turner made her debut on NXT Wrestling. She appeared as a special guest ring announcer. Then, on June 29, Turner defeated Raquel Diaz to win the FCW Divas Championship for the first time.
Final Matches and Departure from WWE
On August 1, 2012, Caylee Turner appeared on an episode of NXT. The NXT Commissioner, Dusty Rhodes, announced a "Gold Rush" tournament. This tournament featured wrestlers from NXT and WWE's main roster. They competed to become the first-ever NXT Champion. On August 5, Caylee successfully defended her Divas Championship against Sofia Cortez on FCW TV. This was her last match in FCW.
On August 11, 2012, Christina Crawford was released from her WWE contract. She was still the champion when she left, so the title was left without a holder. Caylee Turner had her final televised match for the company on August 8 on NXT. She teamed with Kaitlyn in a match they lost to Tamina Snuka and Paige. The FCW Divas title was officially retired on August 14. This happened because FCW was changing its name to NXT Wrestling. This made Caylee Turner the very last FCW Divas Champion.
After WWE
After leaving WWE, Christina Crawford continued to wrestle for a short time. On November 1, 2012, she had a tryout match for TNA, but she lost. She also wrestled for World Xtreme Wrestling, where she won a match against Angel Love.
On December 8, Christina made her debut for North East Wrestling (NEW). She competed against Ivelisse Velez and lost. After the match, Christina attacked Ivelisse and demanded a contract with the promotion. Two days later, on December 10, Christina wrestled Ivelisse Velez again at another NEW event. This match was special: the winner would get a contract, and the loser would be banned forever. Christina lost again to Ivelisse, which meant she was banned from North East Wrestling.
Cheerleading Career
In 2013, Christina Crawford started a new career. She became a cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is a professional football team in the National Football League.
