Christine Devine (born November 2, 1965) is an American television news anchor in Los Angeles. You can see her on Fox 11 News on KTTV during weeknights. She has won many awards, including 16 Emmys. Six of these Emmys were for being the best newscast.

Early Life and School

Christine Devine was born in Hamburg, New York. She grew up in Arizona. She finished college at Arizona State University in 1987. She started her career as a reporter in Arizona.

Christine is part of the Hall of Fame at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism. This is a special honor for people who have done great things in news. She also received an award from Arizona State University for her achievements. In 2021, she received an honorary doctorate from Cal State LA.

Christine went to Tolleson Union High School in Tolleson, Arizona. She was the top student in her class, known as the Valedictorian. Her classmates also voted her "Most Likely to Succeed."

Christine's mother married Dr. Jack Devine. He legally adopted Christine, and she changed her name to Christine Devine.
