Christopher Lund Nissen (born January 31, 1992), known simply as Christopher, is a popular Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is from Copenhagen, Denmark, and is signed to the record label EMI Denmark.
Christopher has become a big name in Danish music. In 2012, he won the "New Thinker of the Year" award at the Danish Music Awards. He has released several successful albums, including Colours (2012), Told You So (2014), and Closer (2016). Some of his most famous songs are "Told You So," "CPH Girls," and "I Won't Let You Down."

Musical Career
How It All Started
Christopher began his journey in music by singing covers, which are new versions of songs originally performed by other artists. His first official song, called a debut single, was "Against the Odds". It was released in September 2011 and reached number 23 on the Danish music charts.
His next single, "Nothing in Common", was an even bigger hit, climbing to number 5 on the charts in 2012. These early successes led to his first album, Colours, which came out in 2013.
Rise to Fame
Christopher's fame grew with each new album. His 2014 album, Told You So, was a huge success. The song "CPH Girls" became his first number-one hit in Denmark.

Personal Life
Christopher was born in Frederiksberg, a district in Copenhagen. He grew up in Amager with his parents and his younger brother, Oliver.
In 2014, he started dating Danish model Cecilie Haugaard. They got married in June 2019. The couple has two daughters. Their first, Noelle, was born in 2021, and their second daughter was born in 2023.
Acting Career
Besides singing, Christopher has also tried acting. In 2023, he starred in the Netflix movie A Beautiful Life. He played the main character, a young fisherman who becomes a music star. Christopher also wrote and performed the songs for the movie's soundtrack.
