Christopher Malcolm (born August 19, 1946 – died February 15, 2014) was an actor and producer from Scotland. He became well-known for playing Brad Majors in the first ever stage show of The Rocky Horror Show.

Early Life and Learning
Christopher Malcolm was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. His family moved to British Columbia, Canada, in the late 1940s, and he grew up there. He went to the University of British Columbia. There, he studied and worked in theatre, which is how he started his career.
Acting and Producing Career
After university, Christopher Malcolm moved back to the UK. He began his acting career with the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1966 to 1968. He acted in many plays and worked with famous directors like Peter Hall and Trevor Nunn.
Theatre and Film Roles
Throughout the 1970s, he continued to act in theatre and films. He was in many plays at the Royal Court, including the popular musical The Rocky Horror Show. In this show, he created the role of Brad Majors.
He also appeared in several well-known movies:
- The Empire Strikes Back (where he played Zev Senesca, a Rebel soldier who helped Luke Skywalker and Han Solo on the planet Hoth).

In 1983, he appeared in the TV show Only Fools and Horses as a character named Charles Winters. He also played a café owner in The Comic Strip film "A Fistfull of Traveller's Cheques" in 1984.
Becoming a Producer
In 1978, Christopher Malcolm started working as a producer. His first production was Pal Joey. This show moved to the West End in London in 1980. It was even nominated for an award.
He then produced Steaming in 1981, which won an award for Best Comedy. This play ran for two years in London and toured around the world. He also produced other plays in London, including five plays by Steven Berkoff.
The Rocky Horror Show's Success
In 1990, Christopher Malcolm helped produce a new version of The Rocky Horror Show. He worked with Howard Panter for this. This production was very successful across the UK. It had four tours over 10 years and many shows worldwide.
He helped manage these shows for The Rocky Horror Company Ltd. This company was formed by the producers and the writer, Richard O'Brien. The show even made it to Broadway in New York in 2000.
Later Acting Roles
Christopher Malcolm continued to act while producing. He appeared in 11 episodes of the popular TV show Absolutely Fabulous. In this show, he played Justin, who was Saffy's father. He also acted in the BBC2 film Daphne as Nelson Doubleday.
Personal Life
Christopher Malcolm lived in London with his wife, Judy, who was also an actress. They had three children together: Nell, Morgan, and Marlon.
His daughter, Morgan Lloyd Malcolm, shared the sad news of his death on February 15, 2014. He passed away from cancer at the age of 67.
