Christopher Wright grew up in Waterford, Michigan. When he was in fourth grade, his family moved to Grayling. He also lived for a short time in Houghton Lake. Later, he moved to Petoskey for six years. After that, he lived in a small cabin near Cheboygan. Today, he lives in Topinabee, Michigan, with his wife and two dogs, Jelly Bean and Brody. Topinabee is about 25 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge.
