History of the Church
The Church of San Francisco de Sales has an interesting past. At the start of a difficult period in Spain's history, in the late 1930s, the church building was used for a different purpose. A group of soldiers, known as the Fifth Regiment, temporarily used the building as their main office. After this period, the church went back to being a place of worship.
