The Church of St Catherine is an old church in a place called St Catherine, England. It's an Anglican church, which means it belongs to the Church of England. History of St Catherine's Church
The church started as a small chapel of ease. This was a church built for people who lived far from the main church in Bath. It was easier for them to go to this smaller chapel.
The land where St Catherine's Church stands belonged to a religious leader named Prior Cantlow. He was from Bath Abbey during the medieval times. Around the year 1490, Prior Cantlow made many changes to the church.
Later, in 1503, the church's tall tower was added. The church also had more changes in the years 1704, 1846, and 1880. Each time, parts of the church were updated or repaired.

When you go inside the Church of St Catherine, you can see some very old items. There is a font from the 12th century. A font is a special basin used for baptisms.
You can also see a pulpit from the 15th century. A pulpit is a raised platform where a speaker stands to give a sermon. These old pieces show how long the church has been used.
