Changes Over Time
The church has been looked after and updated over the years. It was carefully "restored" between 1871 and 1872. This work was done by a well-known architect named George Frederick Bodley. Restoring a building means fixing it up. It helps to make sure it stays strong and beautiful for many more years.

Inside the Church
When you go inside the church, you might notice the beautiful stained glass windows. Some of these windows were made by artists called Burlison and Grylls.
