The Church of the Monastery of San Miguel de Bárcena is a very old and interesting church. It is found in a place called Bárcena del Monasterio, which is in Tineo, Asturias, Spain. This church used to be part of a monastery.
The building you see today was built in the 13th century, which means it's over 800 years old! It was built on the site of an even older building. Inside, you can see beautiful wall paintings from the 16th century.

One of the most exciting things about the church is a stone inscription. This special stone dates all the way back to the year 1003! It is a funerary inscription, meaning it was placed to remember someone who had passed away. It tells us about a person named Arogontine.
