Her Boxing Journey

Olympic Performance
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Cindy faced tough opponents. In her first fight, she won against Tammara Thibeault from Canada. Tammara was a gold medalist from the 2022 World Boxing Championships.
Next, Cindy defeated Davina Michel from France. This win in the quarter-finals meant she was guaranteed to win at least a bronze medal. This made her the first person ever to win an Olympic medal for the Refugee Olympic Team.
In the semi-finals, Cindy fought Atheyna Bylon from Panama. She lost this match, which meant she earned a bronze medal.
After the Olympics, Cindy decided to become a professional boxer. She signed a contract with a company called Boxxer in January 2025.
