In 1974, Claude Dubar started his teaching career in Beirut, Lebanon. After this experience, he moved back to France. In 1977, he became a professor at the Lille University of Science and Technology. In 1988, Claude Dubar joined a special research group in Paris. This group was called the Centre for Studies and Research on Qualifications. Here, he studied how education and work are connected.
