Claude Joseph Antoine Provost (born September 17, 1933 – died April 17, 1984) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played as a right winger. Claude Provost was known for his amazing career with the Montreal Canadiens.
He played his entire NHL career with the Canadiens. He helped his team win the famous Stanley Cup nine times! This is a huge achievement in hockey. He also won the very first Bill Masterton Trophy in 1968. This award is given to a player who shows great sportsmanship and dedication.
Claude Provost passed away in 1984 while playing tennis at his home in Florida.
