Clay Cane is an American journalist, author, and radio host. He is known for his work as a political commentator and for hosting The Clay Cane Show on the SiriusXM Urban View radio station.
In 2024, he wrote the book The Grift: The Downward Spiral of Black Republicans From the Party of Lincoln to the Cult of Trump. The book became a New York Times bestseller.
Education
Cane attended Rutgers University, where he studied English and African-American Studies. He was a very successful student and became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. This group recognizes students for their excellent grades and achievements in college.

Clay Cane has had a long career in media, working as a writer, director, and commentator.
