Playing for the Chicago Bulls
In March 1990, the Chicago Bulls signed Clifford Lett to a 10-day contract. This is a short agreement that lets a team see if a player is a good fit. He then signed a second 10-day contract in April. During his time with the Bulls, he played in four games and scored a total of 4 points. After these contracts, the Bulls decided not to keep him on their team.
Time with the San Antonio Spurs
Clifford Lett's short NBA career continued with the San Antonio Spurs. In February 1991, he signed another 10-day contract with them. He played in 7 more games during the 1990-91 season. However, after 20 days, the Spurs also decided to release him.
