How Did Clyde Get Its Name?

The community of Clyde got its name a long time ago, in the 1890s. A man named Seth Champion was a director for a railroad company called the Kewaunee, Green Bay & Western railroad. He decided to name the community after his own son, Clyde. It's a nice way to remember a family connection!
