The Cobb Galleria Centre is a large building in Atlanta, Georgia, where people hold big meetings, shows, and events. It's located in Cobb County, Georgia, in the United States. This center is right next to many cool places like Cumberland Mall, Truist Park (where the Atlanta Braves play baseball), and the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Since it opened, the Cobb Galleria Centre has hosted over 20,000 events and welcomed more than 10 million guests! It's managed by the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority. You can find it easily because it's near three major highways: Interstate 75, Interstate 285, and Cobb Parkway. Below the main event halls, there's also a special shopping area called the Galleria Specialty Mall.

Discovering the Cobb Galleria Centre's History
The Cobb Galleria Centre was built in 1994. The main goal was to create a great place for small and medium-sized trade shows, conventions, and other gatherings. It was also designed for social events like banquets.
How Big is the Centre?
This huge building has more than 320,000 square feet of space. Imagine a giant hall with 144,000 square feet just for exhibits! It also has a 25,000-square-foot ballroom, which is perfect for big parties or dances. Plus, there are 20 meeting rooms and four special executive boardrooms for smaller, important discussions.
Connected to Fun Places
The Cobb Galleria Centre is part of a big area called the Galleria complex. This area covers 88 acres and has offices, shops, and hotels. The Centre is directly connected to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, which has 522 rooms. You can even walk across a special bridge to get to the Sheraton Suites Galleria Hotel, Cumberland Mall, Truist Park, and The Battery Atlanta.
Growing and Improving Over Time
The people in charge of the Centre have worked hard to make it even better. They've added more exhibit space and built new parking areas. They also took over the food and drink services themselves. One of their biggest projects was building the amazing Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, which opened in 2007.
Shops and Eateries at the Galleria
The Galleria Specialty Mall, located downstairs from the main event areas, offers a variety of shops and places to grab a bite. It's a convenient spot for visitors to explore.
