Ancient Military Towers

They helped control who came in and out of the area. They also watched over goods being traded. If there was danger, the soldiers would light fires in braziers. This sent smoke signals to other soldiers nearby.

Villa of De Maddalena Schiroli

This beautiful old house, or villa, was once very important. It was used as an office for leaders during the time of the Kingdom of Lombardy. The villa has a unique "U" shape. One of its main features is a porch with marble columns. These columns hold up the arches. Because of its special design, experts believe the villa was built in the 1700s.
