Coffman Cove is a small city in Alaska, located on Prince of Wales Island. In the Tlingit language, it's called Tatxánk. It's part of the Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. In 2010, about 176 people lived there. By 2020, the population was 127.

Getting Around Coffman Cove
By Air
The main airport on Prince of Wales Island for planes with wheels is Klawock Airport. Smaller float planes, which land on water, also fly to Coffman Cove. You can find scheduled flights with Taquan Air.
By Ferry
Ferries are like big boats that carry people and cars. In 2009, ferry service to Coffman Cove was stopped for a while. But as of June 2020, you can take a ferry to Coffman Cove. These ferries are part of the Alaska Marine Highway system. They connect from places like Bellingham, Washington, or Prince Rupert, Canada. You can also connect from Ketchikan, Alaska, using the Inter-Island Ferry Authority (IFA) to Hollis.
By Road
The roads on Prince of Wales Island used to be mostly logging roads. Now, many of the main roads connecting communities, including Coffman Cove, have been improved. They are wider, modern, and paved with asphalt.
Shuttles and Taxis
If you need a ride, there are shuttle buses and taxi companies. They are based in nearby towns like Craig and Klawock. These services can take you between Coffman Cove and the Hollis ferry terminal. They also connect to other communities on the island.
