Collin Hill's Early Life
Collin grew up in Moore, South Carolina. He went to Dorman High School where he played both basketball and football. In 2015, during his senior year, he was chosen as the team captain and the most valuable player (MVP). He helped lead his team, the Dorman Cavaliers, all the way to the state championship game in South Carolina.
College Football Journey
Playing for Colorado State
After finishing high school, Collin decided to play college football for Colorado State University. He joined the Colorado State Rams football team. He became their starting quarterback. However, he faced some tough luck, as he had three injuries that ended his seasons early.
Transferring to South Carolina
In 2020, Collin made a big move. He transferred to the University of South Carolina. There, he was named the starting quarterback for the Gamecocks. He took over the position from another player, Ryan Hilinski.
Professional Football Career
Time with the Cincinnati Bengals
After college, Collin was not chosen in the NFL Draft. However, he later signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a free agent. This meant he could try out for the team. Unfortunately, he was later released and did not make the final 55-player roster for the team.
Playing for the Helvetic Guards
On December 2, 2022, it was announced that Collin would be the starting quarterback for a brand-new team. This team was the Helvetic Guards, part of the European League of Football. He played for them in 2023.
Collin's Life Outside Football
Collin is also focused on his education. He earned a business degree from Colorado State University. He is currently working on getting his Master’s degree in educational technology.
