Colver is a small community in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is known as a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means it is a special area the government uses for counting people. In 2020, about 904 people lived there.
Colver got its name from two people: B. Dawson Coleman and John Heisley Weaver. They took the first three letters from Coleman's name ("Col") and the last three letters from Weaver's name ("ver"). Did you know that Revloc is another town nearby? Its name is "Colver" spelled backward!

Colver is in the middle part of Cambria County. It is in the northwestern section of Cambria Township. The community is about 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Ebensburg. Ebensburg is the main town, or "county seat," for Cambria County.
