Building a Grand Palace: A Look at Its History
This amazing palace was built a long time ago, between the years 1672 and 1676. That's over 300 years ago! A person named Juan de la Marca was in charge of making sure it was built just right. It was created to be a grand home for the Counts of Argillo.
What Does the Palace Look Like?
The Condes de Argillo Palace has a very interesting shape. If you look at it from above, it looks like the letter "H". It has a big main part in the middle. Then, two other sections stick out from the ends, like arms. These sections go across the main part.
Special Features of the Palace
One of the "arms" of the H-shaped palace is actually a church! It's called the church of Santa Ana. This means the palace and the church are connected. The outside of the palace is made of bricks. This gives it a classic and strong look.
