Conemaugh Township is part of the larger Johnstown area. The township includes several smaller towns like Jerome, Davidsville, Tire Hill, Thomas Mills, and part of Holsopple. It also includes the countryside around these towns.
History of Conemaugh Township
A special landmark in Conemaugh Township is the Shaffer's Bridge. This historic bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. This means it is recognized as an important historical site.
