Contoire was once a small town, or "commune," in northern France. It was located in the Somme area, which is like a county. This area is part of the Hauts-de-France region. On January 1, 2019, Contoire joined with other towns. They formed a new, larger commune called Trois-Rivières.
Where is Contoire Located?
Contoire is found in the northern part of France. It sits where two roads meet: the D441 and the D160. The town is also on the banks of the Avre River. This river flows through the Somme department. Contoire is about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southeast of a larger city called Amiens.
