Cooks Valley is a small town located in Chippewa County, which is in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, the town had a population of 805 people. This was an increase from 632 people in 2000. The town got its name from Jacob Cook, who bought land in the valley in the summer of 1858. A post office was set up in 1870, and William Miller was the first postmaster.
