Cornell Warner played in the NBA for seven seasons. His career lasted from 1970 to 1977. He was a member of several well-known teams. These teams included the Buffalo Braves, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Los Angeles Lakers.

Playing in the NBA

During his time in the NBA, Cornell Warner was known for his rebounding. He averaged 6.4 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. Rebounds are when a player grabs the ball after a missed shot.

His best season was in 1974–75. That year, he played for the Milwaukee Bucks. He averaged 7.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. This showed his strength in getting the ball back for his team.

After his NBA career, Cornell Warner continued to play basketball. In October 1977, he moved to Switzerland. He signed with a team called Fribourg Olympic Basket.

He played for Fribourg Olympic until 1979. During his time there, his team won the Swiss national championship twice. They won in both 1978 and 1979. This was a great achievement for him and his team.
