Cortina, California facts for kids
Cortina was once a small community, or "settlement," located in Colusa County, California. It was about 16 miles (26 km) west of a town called Arbuckle.
Cortina was a very small place, and it even had its own post office for a few years. The post office was open from 1898 to 1901. This means that for a short time, people living in Cortina could send and receive mail right there in their community. After 1901, the post office closed, and Cortina eventually became a "former settlement," meaning it no longer exists as an active community today.
