What is Counterfeit Cat About?
The show follows the adventures of Max and Gark. Max (Marc Wootton) is a very lazy housecat. Gark (Alex Kelly) is an alien who looks like a purple knitted cat.
Gark's spaceship crashed on Earth. It landed in the laundry room of Betty (Kayvan Novak). Betty is a kind but clumsy old woman who owns Max. Gark thinks Max is a brave tiger, even though Max is actually quite scared of things.
Max and Gark often end up in strange and risky situations. This happens because Gark has unusual powers that are not always stable. Max sometimes uses these powers for his own benefit. He often does not think about what might happen next.
