Courtenay went to Charterhouse School, a well-known school in England. After that, he studied at Christ Church, Oxford, which is part of Oxford University. While at Oxford, he showed great talent in sports.

Cricket Star

Courtenay Boyle was a "first-class cricketer." This means he played in the highest level of cricket matches at the time.
