Crooked Creek is a small community in Logan County, West Virginia, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. It is also a census-designated place (CDP), which is an area the U.S. Census Bureau defines for gathering population data. Crooked Creek was first recognized as a CDP for the 2020 census.
Where is Crooked Creek?
Crooked Creek is located in the middle part of Logan County. It sits in a valley, which is a low area between hills or mountains. A creek, also named Crooked Creek, flows through this valley. This creek eventually joins the Guyandotte River.
The community of Crooked Creek is next to another community called Peach Creek to its south. Peach Creek also has its own creek flowing through its valley. Crooked Creek is about 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Logan, which is the main town and county seat of Logan County.
