Crystal Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in Polk County, Florida. It is one of many lakes with the same name around the world, and there are even six other Crystal Lakes just in Polk County! This lake is known for its unique shape, which looks a bit like a backwards comma.

Discover Crystal Lake
Crystal Lake covers about 14.38-acre (58,200 m2) of land. It is found in a hilly area of Florida. You can find it northwest of the crossing of Sanders Road and US Highway 27.
Where is Crystal Lake Located?
This lake is about 2.4 miles (3.9 km) west of Davenport, Florida. It is also north of Haines City, Florida. The lake is near a big housing area, and it even has a fountain!
What is Around the Lake?
Crystal Lake has different types of land around its edges. On the east side, it is next to US Highway 27. To the north, you'll find a citrus grove and open fields where animals might graze. From the northwest to the southwest, houses border the lake. There is also a pasture on the southeast side.
Exploring the Lake's Features
The edges of Crystal Lake can be a bit swampy. This means it's not really set up for swimming. There are no public or private places to launch a boat here either. The only way for the public to get close to the lake is along the side of US Highway 27.
