The Currency Museum of the Bank of Japan is a special place in Tokyo, Japan. It is a museum where you can learn all about money from Japan's past and present. It is located right in front of the main Bank of Japan building in Chūō.
This museum first opened its doors in November 1985. It helps people understand how money has changed over many years. For example, in 2010, they had a cool exhibit. It showed different kinds of wallets used during the Edo Period (1603–1867) and the Meiji Era (1868–1912).
