Curtis Blair (born September 24, 1970) is an American basketball referee. He works in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before becoming a referee, he was a talented basketball player.

Curtis Blair's Playing Days
Curtis Blair was a basketball player who stood 6 feet 3 inches tall. He weighed about 185 pounds. He played as a point guard. A point guard is like the team's leader on the court. They bring the ball up and help set up plays.
College Basketball Star
Blair played college basketball for the University of Richmond Spiders. He was a very good player. In the 1991–92 season, he was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Year. This award goes to the best player in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) league.
He was also chosen for the First-team All-CAA twice. This means he was one of the best players in the entire league. He was also picked for the CAA All-Tournament team three times.
Joining the NBA Draft
After college, Curtis Blair was chosen in the 1992 NBA draft. The Houston Rockets picked him in the second round. He was the 53rd player chosen overall. Even though he was drafted, he did not play in a regular NBA game for the Rockets.
Becoming an NBA Referee
After his playing career, Curtis Blair decided to become a basketball referee. He played basketball overseas for a short time, including in Turkey. Then, he joined the NBA as a referee. You can see him on the court wearing the number 74.
