Daisuke Sudo (須藤 大輔, Sudō Daisuke, born April 25, 1977) is a Japanese professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of J2 League club Fujieda MYFC. Daisuke Sudo was born in Yokohama, Japan. He has had a long career in Japanese football, both as a player and a coach.

Playing Football
Daisuke Sudo started his professional football journey in 2000. He joined Mito HollyHock, a club that had just moved up to the J2 League. He quickly became a key player as a forward. In 2001, he played many games and scored 10 goals for his team.
Moving to New Teams
In 2002, Daisuke Sudo moved to another J2 club, Shonan Bellmare. He often came into games as a substitute forward. The next year, in 2003, he joined Ventforet Kofu, also a J2 club. He played a lot of matches for them. In 2005, his team finished third in the league. This great performance helped them get promoted to the J1 League for the 2006 season.
Top Scorer and Later Years
During the 2007 J.League Cup, Daisuke Sudo showed his scoring talent. He scored 6 goals, becoming the top scorer in that competition. In 2008, he moved to Vissel Kobe, a J1 League club. However, injuries made it hard for him to play much during his two seasons there. He then joined Fujieda MYFC in 2010, which was in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2010 season.
Coaching Football
After his playing career, Daisuke Sudo became a football manager.
Managing Gainare Tottori
In June 2018, Daisuke Sudo became the manager for Gainare Tottori, a club in the J3 League. Under his leadership, the team finished in third place in the 2018 season. He left the club at the end of that season.
Leading Fujieda MYFC
On July 12, 2021, Daisuke Sudo returned to Fujieda MYFC, this time as their manager. He took over from Yasuharu Kurata. On November 20, 2022, he led his team to an amazing achievement. Fujieda MYFC finished as runners-up in the J3 League. This meant they were promoted to the J2 League for the very first time in the club's history! The day after this big promotion, he was also named the Manager of the Year for the 2022 season. He continues to manage Fujieda MYFC.
