Damiano Zenoni (born 23 April 1977) is an Italian football manager and former player. He used to play as a midfielder or defender.
Damiano was a very flexible player. He could play almost anywhere in the middle of the field or in defense. He often played on the right side as a winger, which is an attacking player on the side, or a wing-back, who helps both attack and defense. Sometimes, he even played on the left side. Damiano has a twin brother, Cristian Zenoni, who was also a professional footballer!

Playing for Clubs
Starting Out
Damiano Zenoni began his football journey in the youth team at Atalanta. Later, he joined the club's main senior team. To gain more experience and playing time, he was loaned out to other clubs. He played for Pistoiese in the 1996–97 season. After that, he played for Alzano Virescit during the 1997–98 season.
Damiano helped Atalanta get back into Serie A, which is the top football league in Italy. He made his first appearance in Serie A with Atalanta on 1 October 2000. This match was against S.S. Lazio. During the 2000–01 season, Damiano and his brother Cristian became known as promising young full-backs in the league.
In 2005, Damiano joined Udinese. He signed a four-year contract with his new club. Atalanta then brought up Marco Motta from their youth team to play in Damiano's old position.
Time at Parma
In the summer of 2007, another club called Parma signed Damiano Zenoni. They paid €3 million to get him. At the same time, another player named Damiano Ferronetti moved from Parma to Udinese. Damiano Zenoni stayed with Parma for three years.
Playing for Piacenza
In January 2011, Damiano Zenoni joined Piacenza. He played for them for the rest of the 2010–11 football season.
Playing for Italy
Damiano Zenoni played for the Italian national team only once. This was in a friendly match against England on 15 November 2000. Italy won the game 1–0. The manager for Italy at that time was Giovanni Trapattoni.
Becoming a Coach
After his playing career, Damiano Zenoni became a football coach. On 7 May 2019, he was made the head coach of Feralpisalò. This club plays in Serie C, which is a professional football league in Italy. Before becoming the head coach, he had already worked with the youth team at Feralpisalò. However, on 25 September 2019, he was no longer the coach of the club. This happened after his team lost a match 3–1 to Fano.
Personal Life
Damiano Zenoni has a twin brother named Cristian Zenoni. Cristian was also a professional football player.
