Damien Gareth Walters (born on April 6, 1982) is a British athlete famous for his amazing skills in freerunning, gymnastics, and stunt work. Originally from Derbyshire, England, he started as a top-level gymnast specializing in tumbling and trampoline. Now, he is also a movie director.

From Gymnast to Stuntman

Damien Walters was a very talented gymnast. He competed for Great Britain in four Trampoline World Championships. In 2003, he and his teammates won the world title in the team competition, which was a huge achievement! He also performed very well in solo events.

After 2007, Damien decided to use his gymnastic talents in a new and exciting way. He became a professional stuntman, performing dangerous and acrobatic moves for movies.

What is a Stuntman?

A stuntman, or stunt performer, is someone who does the thrilling and often risky actions in movies that might be too dangerous for actors. This can include big jumps, complicated fights, or falling from high places. Damien's background in gymnastics made him perfect for this job.

Action on Screen

As a stuntman, Damien has worked on many famous movies. He has been a stunt double, which means he stood in for the main actor during action scenes. He has also been a stunt performer, doing specific acrobatic moves.

He became very popular on YouTube, where his videos have been watched over 130 million times! This success led him to open his own gym in Derby, called Derby City Gymnastics Club. He uses this gym to train and film new videos.

Behind the Camera

Damien has also started directing movies. In January 2024, it was announced that he had directed two action-comedy films, Stuntnuts: The Movie and Stuntnuts Does School Fight.
