Damone Lamar Brown (born June 28, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a forward, standing 6 feet 9 inches tall. After playing college basketball at Syracuse University, he was chosen by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2001 NBA draft.
During his time in the NBA, Damone played for the 76ers, the Toronto Raptors, the New Jersey Nets, and the Washington Wizards. He also played for several teams in the NBA Development League (now called the G-League) and other leagues around the world.

Coaching College Teams
In 2015, Damone became an assistant coach at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, New York. He worked there for three seasons, helping the team improve. Later, he became the head coach at Bryant & Stratton College of Buffalo. He led their new basketball program to great success.
In their first year, his team had a winning record and made it to the National Final Four tournament. The next season, they also qualified for the national tournament. Damone's coaching helped his teams achieve impressive results.
Private Coaching
Damone also works as a private coach. He gives lessons in upstate New York through a service called CoachUp. This allows him to help individual players develop their basketball skills.
