Dana Gould (born August 24, 1964) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and voice artist. You might know his voice as the main character in the Gex video games. He also worked as a writer and producer for the popular TV show The Simpsons. Dana has appeared on channels like HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central.

Growing Up
Dana Gould was born in Hopedale, Massachusetts. He was the fifth of six children in his family. He grew up in a Roman Catholic family.
Comedy and TV Career
Dana started performing comedy on stage when he was just 17 years old. After high school, he studied communications and theater for a year. Then, he moved to San Francisco to become a full-time comedian. In 1986, he even helped start a place called the San Francisco Comedy Condo with another comedian, Alex Reid.
Early TV Appearances
Dana wrote and acted on The Ben Stiller Show. He played funny characters, like Cupid's silly brother, Otto. He also did a funny impression of Wilford Brimley in commercials for "Grady's Oats." Dana appeared in an episode of MADtv and played "Fragile" Frankie Merman, Jerry's childhood friend, on Seinfeld. He also helped create a show called Super Adventure Team.
Working on The Simpsons
Dana Gould worked as a writer for The Simpsons for seven years, from 2001 to 2007. He also helped produce the show for several seasons. During his time there, he even lent his voice to a few characters, including an impression of Don Knotts as Barney Fife. Even after leaving the show to work on his own projects, he has returned a few times to voice characters.
Voice Acting and Movies
One of Dana's most famous voice roles is the main character in the Gex video game series. He also helped write many of the jokes for these games. He voiced a character named Hi Larious in the animated show Father of the Pride.
Dana has also appeared in movies like Girls Will Be Girls and The Aristocrats. He has made short films too, like Last Man On Earth. In 2009, he released a stand-up comedy special called "Let Me Put My Thoughts In You."
