Danger Mouse is a fun animated TV show from Ireland and Britain. It's a new version of a classic show from 1981. The series is about Danger Mouse, who calls himself the "World's Greatest Secret Agent." He works with his sidekick, a hamster named Penfold. Together, they protect the world from all sorts of dangers!
Their boss, Colonel K, and a super smart scientist, Professor Squawkencluck, help them. They make sure Danger Mouse has the right tools to stop his main enemy, Baron Silas von Greenback.
People started thinking about bringing Danger Mouse back in 2013. The show was officially announced the next year. Brian Cosgrove, who helped create the first series, also helped make this new one. The main actors who would voice the characters were announced in 2014. The show first aired on CBBC on September 28, 2015. This was more than 20 years after the original show ended!
The new Danger Mouse quickly became very popular. Within three weeks, 2.4 million people watched it. It became the most-watched show on the CBBC channel. Because it was so popular, they ordered a second series in May 2016. Then, in April 2017, they ordered a third series with 26 new episodes.

Main Heroes and Villains
- Danger Mouse (voiced by Alexander Armstrong): He's the main hero and the world's best secret agent. Danger Mouse is very confident in his skills. Sometimes, he's a bit too confident, which can lead to tricky situations!
- Penfold (voiced by Kevin Eldon): Penfold is a hamster and Danger Mouse's assistant. He's a bit shy and often gets nervous. When he's scared, he usually shouts "Oh, Crumbs!"
- Colonel K (voiced by Stephen Fry): This chinchilla is Danger Mouse and Penfold's boss. It turns out he used to be a secret agent himself, called Danger K! A funny thing about him is that he often forgets Penfold's name.
- Professor Squawkencluck (voiced by Shauna Macdonald): She's a chicken and the top scientist for the secret service. She gets annoyed when Danger Mouse uses her inventions without asking. She also gets mad when he breaks her latest creations. It's like they have a love-hate relationship!
- Baron Silas von Greenback (voiced by Ed Gaughan): He's the main bad guy and Danger Mouse's biggest enemy. Greenback is a criminal mastermind. In this new series, he has a German accent.
- Nero (vocal effects by Marc Silk): Nero is Greenback's fluffy white pet caterpillar. People often don't realize how smart and sneaky he is.
- Stiletto Mafiosa (voiced by Dave Lamb): He's Greenback's sidekick. Stiletto is an Italian crow who isn't very smart.
- The Narrator (voice of Lamb): Just like in the old show, you never see the Narrator. He often talks directly to the audience and even to the characters. Sometimes, he even gets into danger himself!
Other Important Characters
- Pandaminion (voiced by Gaughan): This giant panda is one of Greenback's newer helpers. He's not very bright.
- Dr. Loo-cifer (née John) (voiced by Kayvan Novak): This is a very advanced robotic toilet that went rogue!
- "Pink" Dawn Crumhorn/The Princess (voiced by Morwenna Banks): She's a spoiled young poodle. She becomes very powerful when her tiara touches a special mind-gel.
- Isambard King Kong Brunel (voiced by Novak): A scientist monkey who invents things that aren't very useful.
- Count Duckula (voiced by Rasmus Hardiker): He's a vampire duck who loves being famous. This version of Duckula is a mix of the bad guy from the original Danger Mouse and the friendly vegetarian from his own spin-off show.
- Jeopardy Mouse (voiced by Lena Headey): She's the American version of Danger Mouse. Jeopardy Mouse is a professional agent who gets her missions done. But she can sometimes be a bit too serious.
- Doctor Augustus P. Crumhorn IV (voiced by John Oliver): He is The Princess's father. He's a very rich Dobermann dog who wants to beat Danger Mouse. He also wants to buy up all the companies in the world to make his daughter happy.
