Early Life and Education
Danica Curcic was born in Belgrade, which is in Serbia. When she was just one year old, her family moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. Her father worked at the embassy there.
Danica went to Sankt Annæ Gymnasium, a school in Denmark. After that, she studied film and media at the University of Copenhagen. She also spent a year in California, USA. There, she took acting classes to improve her skills. In 2012, she finished her studies at the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
Acting Career Highlights
Danica Curcic started her film career in 2012 with the movie Over kanten. She quickly gained recognition for her acting.
In 2014, she received a special "Shooting Star Award" at the Berlin International Film Festival. This award celebrates young, talented actors. The next year, in 2015, she won the Danish Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress. She earned this award for her amazing performance in the movie Silent Heart, directed by Bille August.
