Daniel Colindres Solera (born January 10, 1985) is a professional football player from Costa Rica. He plays as a forward, which means he's usually trying to score goals for his team. Currently, he plays for the club Municipal Liberia in Costa Rica.

Club Career
Daniel started playing football in the youth teams of Saprissa, a famous club in Costa Rica. He made his first team debut in 2010. After playing a few matches for Saprissa, he was loaned to Guápiles. Being "loaned" means he played for another team for a while, but his main club still owned his contract.
With Guápiles, he played 43 matches and scored 9 goals. In 2012, he returned to Saprissa. He was loaned out again in 2013 to Puntarenas, where he scored 7 goals in 20 matches.
When he came back to Saprissa, Daniel became a very important player. He often played as a winger, using his speed and skill to create chances for his team. During his time with Saprissa, he helped them win 5 national titles!
In 2018, Daniel moved to Bangladesh to play for Bashundhara Kings. This was the first time he played football outside of Costa Rica. He was also the first player from Costa Rica who had played in a World Cup to play in Bangladesh. In 2021, he returned to Bangladesh to play for Abahani Limited Dhaka.
International Career
Daniel also played for his country, Costa Rica. He made his first appearance for the national team in September 2011 in a friendly match against the USA.
In May 2018, Daniel was chosen to be part of Costa Rica's 23-player squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. This is a huge honor for any football player!

- Liga FPD: He helped Saprissa win the top league in Costa Rica multiple times, including in 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2021.
