Daniel Colindres Solera, born on January 10, 1985, is a professional football player from Costa Rica. He plays as a forward, which means he's an attacking player, for the club Puntarenas in Costa Rica's top league, Liga FPD.

Playing for Clubs
Daniel Colindres started playing football in the youth teams of Saprissa. He joined their main team in 2010.
After playing a few games for Saprissa, he was loaned to another team called Guápiles. There, he played 43 games and scored 9 goals. In 2012, he came back to Saprissa. He played 32 more games and scored 5 goals.
In 2013, he was loaned again, this time to Puntarenas for six months. He scored 7 goals in 20 games for them. When he returned to Saprissa, Daniel became a very important player. He often played as a winger, using his speed and skill to create chances. He helped Saprissa win 5 national championships!
On September 13, 2018, Daniel moved to play football in another country for the first time. He joined the Bangladeshi club Bashundhara Kings. He was the first player from Costa Rica who had played in a World Cup to play in Bangladesh.
On September 25, 2021, Daniel returned to the Bangladesh Premier League. This time, he joined Abahani Limited Dhaka.
Playing for His Country
Daniel Colindres first played for the Costa Rica national team in September 2011. This was in a friendly match against the USA.
In May 2018, he was chosen to be part of Costa Rica's 23-player team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. This is a very big honor for any football player!
