Daniel Armer Kelly (born March 19, 1841 – died January 18, 1912) was an American soldier. He bravely fought in the American Civil War. Kelly earned the Medal of Honor, which is the highest award for bravery a soldier can receive in the United States.
He received this special medal for his amazing courage during the Battle of Waynesboro. This important battle happened in Virginia on March 2, 1865. Daniel Armer Kelly was given his award on March 26, 1865.
