Early Paralympic Appearances
He first competed at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in his hometown of Barcelona. There, he won a bronze medal in the 400m freestyle B2 swimming event. This was a great start to his Paralympic career.
Daniel also took part in the 1996 Summer Paralympics and the 2000 Summer Paralympics. While he didn't win medals at these games, he gained valuable experience.
Winning Silver in Athens

Daniel also excels in other sports. In para-aquathlon, which combines swimming and running, he has won two gold medals at the World Triathlon Aquathlon Championships. He won in London in 2013 and in Chicago in 2015.
In para-duathlon, which combines running and cycling, he has also achieved success. He won a silver medal at the World Triathlon Duathlon Championships in Pontevedra in 2014. He also earned a silver medal at the European Championships in Alcobendas in 2015 and a bronze in Soria in 2017.
Life Outside Sports
In 2008, Daniel Llambrich worked as a coupon seller. This shows that even top athletes have other jobs and interests. His journey is an inspiration to many young people.
