Danielle Vega is an American actress. She is also known by her birth name, Erica Rhodes. Danielle first appeared on TV as Kim in the popular children's show Barney & Friends. Later, she became very well-known for her role as Ceci Camayo in the Hulu drama series East Los High.

Early Life and Education
Danielle Vega was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up in Dallas, Texas. She went to Southern Methodist University and earned a degree in journalism. Danielle is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
Danielle Vega's Acting Career
Danielle Vega started acting when she was just 10 years old. Her first big role was on the children's TV show Barney & Friends. She played the character Kim.
From Singing Auditions to TV Roles
In 2009, Danielle tried out for the ninth season of American Idol. She made it to the "Hollywood Week" auditions but did not go further in the competition. After that, she focused on acting. She has appeared in several films, including So This Is Christmas, Betrayed at 17, and Teeth and Blood. In 1994, she also appeared as herself in a Bible series called Psalty's Songs for Little Praisers.
Breakthrough Role in East Los High
Danielle Vega got a very important role as Ceci Camayo in the show East Los High. This role helped her become widely recognized. For her work on the show, she was even nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
