Daniel Bois was born on June 1, 1983, in Thunder Bay, Canada. He is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. He mostly played as a right winger. Daniel Bois played one game in the famous National Hockey League (NHL) with the Ottawa Senators.
Playing Career of Daniel Bois

Daniel Bois was chosen in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. He was picked in the 3rd round, as the 97th player overall. Before turning professional, he played junior hockey for the London Knights. This team is part of the OHL. He was even the team's captain for several years.
After his time with the London Knights, Bois signed with the Ottawa Senators on April 30, 2004. Even though he signed with the Senators, he spent most of his time playing for their minor league team. This team was called the Binghamton Senators. He played for them for five seasons.
During his time with the Ottawa Senators organization, Daniel Bois played only one game in the NHL. This happened during the 2006–07 season. It's a big deal to play even one game in the NHL!
On July 20, 2009, Bois signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was then sent to play for their minor league team. This team was the Rockford IceHogs. He played for them during the entire 2009–10 season.
Playing in Europe
After playing in North America, Daniel Bois decided to try playing hockey in Europe. On July 23, 2010, he signed a contract with an Austrian team. This team was EC Red Bull Salzburg, which plays in the EBEL league. He liked it so much that he stayed for another season.
Bois continued to play in the Austrian League for a third year. He signed with Dornbirner EC on July 30, 2012. After three seasons in Austria, he moved to Germany. On May 10, 2013, he signed a one-year contract with EHC München. This team plays in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, which is Germany's top hockey league.
Later, Bois had a short time playing in the Elite Ice Hockey League in the UK. He played for the Sheffield Steelers. After that, he returned to the Austrian League. On January 27, 2015, he joined the Vienna Capitals. He signed a new contract to stay with the Capitals on May 15, 2015. Daniel Bois ended his professional hockey career in 2016.
