Darquavis Lamar "Dar" Tucker (born April 11, 1988) is an American-Jordanian professional basketball player. He is known for his exciting play on the court. He played college basketball at DePaul University before starting his professional career.

Early Life and College Basketball
High School Years
Dar Tucker went to Arthur Hill High School. This school is located in Saginaw, Michigan. He played high school basketball there.
Playing for DePaul University
After high school, Tucker played college basketball for the DePaul Blue Demons. He was part of the team from 2007 to 2009.
Professional Basketball Career
Early Career and D-League Success
Dar Tucker started his professional career in 2009. He quickly became known for his athletic skills. In both 2010 and 2011, he won the D-League Slam Dunk Contest. This contest showcases amazing dunks. In 2011, he was also named the D-League's Most Improved Player. This award goes to a player who shows a lot of improvement.
Playing in Different Countries
Tucker has played basketball all over the world. For the 2011–12 season, he played for Aix Maurienne Savoie Basket in France. He returned to play for them again in 2013–14.
In March 2015, he joined the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League for a second time. On March 28, 2015, he scored 58 points in one game. This tied the NBA D-League's record for most points in a single game. He averaged many points and rebounds in his games there. After that, he played for Trotamundos de Carabobo in Venezuela. He also played for Al-Manama in Bahrain.
Tucker continued his career playing for many teams. He played for Estudiantes Concordia in Argentina and Huracanes del Atlántico in the Dominican Republic. He returned to Estudiantes Concordia for another season. Later, he played for Hunan Yongsheng in China.
From 2017 to 2021, Tucker was a key player for San Lorenzo in Argentina. He helped them win multiple championships. He then played for Flamengo in Brazil from 2021 to 2022. After that, he joined Boca Juniors in Argentina from 2022 to 2023.
In 2023–2024, he played for Beirut Club and then Reales de La Vega in 2024. He also played for Mineros de Zacatecas in 2024. His most recent team was the Hsinchu Toplus Lioneers in Taiwan. He signed with them in December 2024, but his contract ended in February 2025.
