Darius Creston McCrary (born May 1, 1976) is an American actor, singer, and producer. He is best known for playing Edward "Eddie" Winslow on the popular TV show Family Matters. This sitcom, a funny show about a family, aired from 1989 to 1998.
Darius McCrary also appeared in the 1987 comedy film Big Shots, which was his first movie role. Later, he lent his voice to the character of Jazz in the 2007 movie Transformers. From 2009 to 2011, he played the photographer Malcolm Winters on the TV drama The Young and the Restless.

Becoming an Actor: Early Life and Roles
Darius McCrary started acting when he was a child. His first movie was the 1987 comedy Big Shots. He also appeared in different TV shows and had a role in the 1988 film Mississippi Burning. The next year, he got the part of Eddie Winslow in Family Matters.
After Family Matters finished in 1998, McCrary starred in a short TV series called Freedom. In 2001, he acted alongside famous actors like Robert De Niro in 15 Minutes and Whoopi Goldberg in Kingdom Come.
Voice Acting and TV Drama Roles
In 2006, McCrary worked again with his Family Matters co-star Kellie Shanygne Williams on the show Eve. In 2007, he voiced Jazz in the Transformers movie. He also voiced Tarix in the animated film Bionicle: The Legend Reborn in 2009.
That same year, he joined the cast of the TV drama The Young and the Restless. He played Malcolm Winters, a role that another actor, Shemar Moore, had played before. Darius McCrary left The Young and the Restless in 2011.
In 2010, Darius McCrary appeared as himself on an episode of I Get That a Lot. On this show, celebrities pretend to be regular people. He later starred in a play called In-Laws From Hell.
Beyond Acting: Personal Life and Charity Work
Darius McCrary is the founder of Fathers Care. This is a non-profit group that helps fathers. It is part of the McCrary Foundation, which his family started.
