Darren Lim (born 30 September 1972) is a famous Singaporean actor and television host. He worked full-time for Mediacorp, a big media company, from 1997 to 2016.

Darren Lim's Acting Journey
Darren Lim started his career early, leaving school when he was 15 years old. He first worked as a singer. Later, in the mid-1990s, he joined the Television Corporation of Singapore. This company was a big part of what is now Mediacorp.
In 2000, he moved to another company called SPH MediaWorks. But in 2005, these two companies joined together. So, Darren Lim came back to Mediacorp. After returning, he became much more well-known. He was nominated many times for the Best Supporting Actor award. One of his most famous roles was in the TV show The Little Nyonya.
In May 2012, after about 20 years in the entertainment world, Darren Lim decided to leave Mediacorp. He wanted to help with his father's business. He also wanted to spend more time with his family. Since then, he has continued acting, but now he works as a freelance actor. This means he chooses which projects to work on.

Darren Lim is married to another artist named Evelyn Tan. They got married in 2004. He decided to step away from full-time acting to help his brother with his business. This also allowed him to spend more time with his family. Darren and Evelyn have four children. Their names are Kristen, Jairus, Way, and Elliot.
