David Bullock (born June 15, 1993), also known as Alaska, is an American businessman. He is a media executive and a talent manager, which means he helps artists and performers with their careers.
In 2017, Bullock started his own company, 907 Agency. It's a company that helps businesses and people with their online presence and technology.
Early Life
David Bullock is the youngest of seven children. He grew up in Anchorage, Alaska.
When he was in high school, he was a talented basketball player. He played for South Anchorage High School. After high school, he followed his older brother Wesley to Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Career Highlights
In 2014, David Bullock was recognized as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential Black People on Digital/Social Media." This showed how much he was already making a difference online.
He also made his first appearance on national television in 2014. This was on a show called Time's Up! which aired on Music Television (MTV).
In 2015, Bullock worked with a famous music producer, The World Famous Tony Williams. They helped put together a music show at the SXSW Music Festival. The next year, he traveled all over North America. He was working on famous musician Kanye West's "Saint Pablo Tour." He has also attended Kanye West's "Sunday Service" events. His social media posts from these events have even been used in news articles!
In 2017, a group called HBCU Buzz named him one of the "HBCU Top 30 Under 30." This is a special list for young people who have achieved a lot from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
In 2018, David Bullock received a very special award from his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. It's like getting the "key to the city" and is the highest honor they can give. He got this award because of his important work in the music industry. That same year, a popular magazine called GQ described him as an important Black entrepreneur. He was also named one of the "100 Most Influential People of African Descent under the age of 40." This recognition came from a committee that supports the United Nations Decade Of African Descent.
His company, 907 Agency, announced a new mobile game in 2018 called "World Famous." David also helped organize a big event for Sean Combs (also known as Diddy) in 2018. Today, he is the manager for The World Famous Tony Williams. In 2020, he was chosen by Forbes magazine for their "Forbes 30 Under 30" list for 2021. This was in the marketing and advertising section, showing he is one of the top young people in that field. In 2024, David Bullock became an associate producer for a documentary about Kanye West called In Whose Name?.
