David Rosengarten, born on January 25, 1950, is an American chef, author, and television personality. He was famous for hosting over 2500 TV shows on the Food Network between 1994 and 2001.

About David Rosengarten's Life

David Rosengarten was born in New York City. His father, Leonard Rosengarten, worked as an executive in the clothing industry. His mother's name was Lorraine Stein.

David married Constance Childs on October 15, 1983. Their wedding was even catered by famous TV personality Martha Stewart. Constance's grandmother was a photographer named Shirley Burden.

David's Family

David and Constance have two daughters, Andrea and Sarah. Both of his daughters often appeared on his cooking show called Taste on the Food Network.

They also have a son named Bjorn Rosengarten-Bowser. Bjorn has worked behind the scenes for TV shows and even appeared on Martha Stewart's "Emeril's Table" cooking show. He studied Sound Engineering and Production at the Berklee School of Music.

David's Education

David Rosengarten went to Colgate University and earned a bachelor's degree in 1971. Later, he received a doctorate in dramatic literature from Cornell University in 1980. Before becoming a well-known chef, he was a professor of theater at Skidmore College.
